Gutter, Shed & Leak-Repair Sealant
One seamless coat beats a patchwork of tapes and tubes. Roll or brush Rubberseal over the whole trouble zone and stop chasing the leak — it cures into a single flexible membrane with no seams to fail.
Seal the whole area, not just the crack
Tapes lift and caulk beads shrink because they only cover the visible gap. Rubberseal coats the entire trouble area — the seam, the fasteners, and the metal or wood around them — and bridges hairline and movement cracks as things expand and contract. For deeper cracks and detail work, the trowel-grade caulk and sealant fills and reinforces before you roll the membrane over the top.
What to seal
- Gutters, valleys, and downspout seams
- Shed and outbuilding roofs
- Flashings, vents, and roof penetrations
- Cracks and low spots on flat and low-slope surfaces
- Planters, troughs, and small water features (use Black where water stands)
Which color
For most exterior repairs, White or Gray blend in and shrug off rain and weather. Where water sits — a pooling gutter, a planter, a low spot that never dries — use Rubberseal Black, our strongest, true-waterproofing membrane.
How to apply
Clean the surface and remove loose rust, scale, or old failing sealant. Fill deep cracks with the trowel-grade sealant, then roll or brush Rubberseal in multiple coats between 50–95 °F, reinforcing seams with Rubberseal Geotextile fabric. Don’t apply if rain is expected within about 6 hours.
